Roman Reigns will make a comeback to WWE SmackDown on August 9, 2024, as the aftermath of Summerslam unfolds. Live will include AJ Styles.
LA Knight defeated Logan Paul at SummerSlam 2024 to win his first United States Championship. This week on SmackDown, he will make his SmackDown debut as the US champion. At SummerSlam, Roman Reigns made a stunning comeback and attacked Solo Sikoa. According to WWE, Reigns will also be making a return appearance on SmackDown this week, when he is anticipated to talk about his future. Reigns might run into Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline, according to rumors. In addition, Nia Jax defeated Bayley at SummerSlam to win the WWE Women’s Championship. This week on SmackDown, Jax will present her new title and a celebratory party with Stratton is scheduled. Cody Rhodes is scheduled to make an appearance on this week’s SmackDown, having successfully defended his title against Solo Sikoa.

During Cody Rhodes’ return match at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns, dubbed the “Original Tribal Chief,” delivered the decisive strike that defeated Solo Sikoa. This week, Roman will now also be seen on the blue brand. SmackDown had three title changes last week. The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu won the WWE Tag Team Championship. LA Knight defeated Logan Paul at SummerSlam to become the new United States Champion. Bayley was defeated by Nia Jax to win the Women’s title at SummerSlam.
