WWE NXT’s August 13th show promises to be an exciting and action-packed evening that tackles the fallout from last week’s events and lays the groundwork for upcoming narratives. On USA Network at 8 PM Eastern, fans can watch all the action live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. Oba Femi said last week on NXT that he would be defending the NXT North American Championship; however, his opponent was not immediately made public. The fact that Femi will be defending his title in an open challenge has now been formally verified by WWE. Otis accepted the challenge after RAW this week, so it is anticipated that the two will play this week. Wren Sinclair won the NXT last week, securing a championship opportunity for the NQCC in the process. In a British rounds battle, Tony D’Angelo will defend his NXT Heritage Cup against Charlie Dempsey. Axiom and Nathan Frazer, the Supersonic Duo, will take on Chase University’s Andre Chase and Ridge Holland to defend their NXT Tag Team Championship. This week, Lexis King will also play Eddy Thorpe in a singles match. Even though it is believed that Thorpe will win, Lexis King would probably assault Thorpe after the game.
