WWE NXT’s August 6th show promises to be an exciting and action-packed evening that tackles the fallout from last week’s events and lays the groundwork for upcoming narratives. On Syfy, starting at 8 PM Eastern, fans can watch all the action live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. Joe Hendry made his debut with an in-ring concert during Week 1 of the NXT Great American Bash, which Gallus disrupted. The disruption sparked an attack on Hendry, which is why this week’s singles match between Hendry and Joe Coffey of Gallus was scheduled. Pete Dunne assaulted Trick Williams two weeks ago after Williams’ bout with Cedric Alexander. In a promo last week, Dunne said that Trick Williams should face him in a singles bout since people had forgotten who the Bruiserweight was. Axiom and Nathan Frazer will defend their NXT Tag Team Championship against Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz of MSK during NXT Great American Bash week 2. In addition, Kelani Jordan will meet Tatum Paxley in a singles bout to defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship. In the singles round, Kendal Grey will compete against Wren Sinclar. After weeks of preparation, Oro Mensah will take on Ethan Page in a singles bout for the NXT Championship this week.
