The TNA Slammiversary 2024 pay-per-view event is scheduled for July 20, 2024. It will be broadcast live from Montreal, Canada’s Verdun Auditorium. Following a one-hour pre-show beginning at 7 PM ET, the main card of the event will begin at 8 PM ET. Moose was celebrating his successful TNA World Championship retention versus Matt Hardy at the Versus All Odds event on the June 20th episode of IMPACT. Santino Marella said that Moose’s title would be up for grabs in a six-way elimination contest at Slammiversary. The same episode featured the qualifying matches for this encounter. To prevent Tatum Paxley from taking the title belt, Ash By Elegance made an appearance at the WWE NXT Battleground 2024 event during Jordynne Grace’s challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship. Ash attempted to attack Grace at the Against All Odds tournament after Grace won the Knockouts title over Paxley. In the subsequent IMPACT episode, Grace’s finisher, Jagguernaut Driver, was Ash’s enhancement talent. Ash was able to take Grace down as she emerged and used the title to stand on top of her. Grace was ready to offer Ash a chance to win the title in the upcoming IMPACT program, but Ash’s Concierge informed her that Slammiversary would be the venue for the match. Mike Bailey lost against Trent Seven in the #1 contender match due to intervention from the current champion, Mustafa Ali. At Against All Odds, Ali managed to hold onto the title with victory. In the June 27 episode of IMPACT, Ali declared that he would confront Bailey at Slammiversary to disprove those who stated he was scared of him. Ace Austin & Chris Bey of ABC will be the opponents for Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards of The System as they defend their TNA World Tag Team Championship. The System will overcome ABC to keep their tag team titles, as has been speculated. In a singles bout, “Broken” Matt Hardy will take on JDC (aka Fandango). Rumor has it that Matt Hardy will win the bout by defeating JDC. In a singles event, Mustafa Ali will be defending the TNA “X” Division Championship against Mike Bailey. Rumor has it that Mike Bailey will emerge from the match as the new TNA X Division Champion by defeating Mustafa Ali. In a singles match, Jordynne Grace will take on Ash by Elegance (aka Dana Brooke) to defend her TNA Knockouts World Championship. Rumor has it that Jordynne Grace will win her Knockouts title back by defeating Ash by Elegance. In a six-man elimination match against Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler), Josh Alexander, Joe Hendry, Steve Maclin, and Frankie Kazarian, Moose will be defending his TNA World Championship. Rumor has claimed that Moose will continue to hold the world title.
