Chris Jericho To Defend FTW Title Against HOOK At AEW All In

For AEW All In, a new title bout has been announced.

A fireball attack by FTW Champion Chris Jericho on HOOK was previously seen on the July 3rd episode of AEW Dynamite. On August 7, HOOK reappeared to challenge Bryan Keith, Big Bill, and Jericho.

HOOK made an appearance on the August 14 episode of AEW Dynamite. He said he could still see with the other eye, but said he couldn’t see with the bandaged eye. He yelled at Chris Jericho, requesting an instant match.

In response, Jericho Bill, and Keith took the stage. He declined the immediate challenge from HOOK, saying it was not worth it. Jericho did, however, consent to a title bout at AEW All In versus HOOK. He stipulated that Hook would have to permanently leave the Jericho Vortex if he lost.

In addition, Jericho insisted that HOOK take on Big Bill on the August 21 AEW Dynamite episode, a request that HOOK complied with. HOOK forewarned Jericho that he would change drastically following their match.
