He criticized their carefree attitude, arguing that the character’s unpredictable nature called for a more circumspect approach. Would you just stand there or would you move away if that woman entered your home? Bully asked the question, emphasizing how unsettling the persona was.
A more realistic response, he suggested, would be for Cole and McAfee to leave the announce table and come back after the commercial break to discover the mysterious VHS video already there.
Bully further pointed out that Sheamus’s reply did not improve the scene, implying a squandered chance for a more potent narrative effect. This criticism was made after Abby gave the confused WWE Raw announcers another mysterious VHS video for the third week in a row.
With a hint of mimicking, Bully Ray commented on the Wyatt Sicks segment from WWE Raw, saying, “That was quite scary, guy! You know, that was sort of scary! That was strange, dude, what was that? Yeah, I’m not afraid. “Why aren’t you scared?” he then said. “Is it because you’re an Irishman, a big tough guy?” Bully emphasized that even the hardest should display dread, arguing that this is exactly what may make the gimmick more scary.
