As AEW All In draws near on August 25, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland earned confidence on Wednesday’s “AEW Dynamite” by taking down Wheeler Yuta, Bryan Danielson’s Blackpool Combat Club partner.

I don't think it hurts anybody" - WWE legend Bully Ray reacts to recent title change in AEW

Bully Ray, a WWE and TNA Hall of Famer, discussed his opinions of the match on “Busted Open After Dark.”

Ray stated, “After the main event, I felt it was a good match.” “For AEW, it was one of the night’s highlights and a great main event. The World Heavyweight Champion belongs in the main event, which features Swerve Strickland.

Ahead of the title vs. career battle scheduled for the AEW World Championship, Bully Ray gave AEW credit for selling about 45,000 tickets for the pay-per-view event.

“It’s a thumbs up anytime you can sell that many tickets.” Don’t overdo it; it won’t be like the first all-in.

The WWE icon declared, “It’s a solid number, and it’s going to be a solid show for AEW.”

For the video package that ran before the main event and included Bryan Danielson’s career in the independent circuit, Ring of Honor, and AEW, Ray also gave AEW credit. He complimented Tony Khan for including Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)” in the bundle.

Ray continued, “Obviously, there isn’t any WWE footage in the package, but it wasn’t necessary.”
