MJF struck referee Paul Turner with the AEW American Title following the contest. There were road cases preventing Will Ospreay from leaving his dressing room, and he was locked inside. While MJF was applying the Dynamite Diamond Ring and punching the broken-open Fletcher, Ospreay managed to escape. Ospreay saved the day for MJF as he teased doing a Tiger Driver 91 on Fletcher. MJF then fled.
