WWE Hopeful Of Star Returning Before Survivor Series

WWE is hopeful that one of its wounded stars will be able to make a comeback in time for the next Survivor Series premium live event.

It was disclosed on the August 12 edition of WWE Raw that Dakota Kai had sustained a torn meniscus and would need surgery, which would keep her out of action for about eight to ten weeks.

PWInsider Elite’s story sheds light on the backstage response to her injuries and suggests when it most likely happened.

According to the source, Dakota Kai is “widely liked and respected” by her peers backstage, and after her injury, there was “significant sympathy” for her.

Kai participated on all three nights of the recent WWE tour of Japan, which took place on July 25, 26, and 27. It is thought that Kai suffered the injury during that time.

It is hoped that she will “come back into the fold” in time for this year’s November 30th Survivor Series narrative.

After being attacked by the recently formed gang, the Pure Fusion Collective, which included Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville, Dakota Kai was written off on television.

The remaining members of Damage CTRL, Kairi Sane, and IYO SKY, are still seeking retribution for the attack.

Asuka, the fourth member of Damage CTRL, is likewise out of commission following surgery and an injury sustained a few months ago.

As further information about Kai’s progress becomes available, we will let you know, and we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
